Volunteers are invited to make fleece blankets at Holy Spirit Church for those battling cancer.

The community is invited to gather on Sunday, December 3 at 11:15 a.m. at Holy Spirit Church in Winfield to make fleece blankets.  Holy Spirit Church is located at 7667 E. 109th Avenue, Crown Point, IN.

Along with sharp scissors, participants should bring two pieces of fleece, each two yards.  No sewing is involved.

Donations of new soft hats, prayer shawls, Sodoku books, crossword puzzles, adult coloring books, pens, 5 x 7 journals, travel games and decks of cards are always accepted by Hope Center.
