Hope Center, a ministry of Lowell Church of Christ, provides a safe place for those who are and have been affected by cancer. With the support of other survivors, people can renew their spirit with hope, refresh their faith in Jesus Christ, and discover resources to navigate through pain, recovery, loss and survival.

Hope Center was founded to provide emotional support and informational resources to Northwest Indiana families facing cancer. (Download our brochure. Side one. Side two.)

Hope Center offers support groups for survivors, family members, caregivers and surviving family members.  (Learn more about S.K.I.P.P.E.R.S. support group.)   Individuals and families find compassion, understanding, friendship and hope when gathering with others facing similar challenges.

Family Fun events are held throughout the year for Hope Center families facing cancer.  Families never pay for activities.

When meeting with someone facing cancer, a volunteer from Hope Center will present a Hope Tote filled with items that will bring comfort.  All items in the tote were selected by Hope Center founder, Kerri Midkiff.

Hope Center provides educational materials, resource information and a lending library to the community.  Educational presentations are offered throughout the year.
